Latvia’s Vitalijs Korhs bagged up an impressive 15,500,000 chips at the end of Day 1A of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe Main Event as 15 of the 97 starters punched their Day 2 tickets at the first attempt.
Korhs’s largest cash weighs in at $15,000, his reward for a 52nd place finish in the 2018 Caribbean Poker Party Main Event. Should he continue as he has begun the MILLIONS Europe Main Event, he should blow that sum out of the water.

Martin Planiscig was the only other player to turn their one million starting stack into eight-figures; Planiscig bagged up 10,500,000 as he sailed through to Day 2.
Also safely through is Italian grinder Andrea Ricci, a talented player with more than $1 million in live tournament cashes. Ricci is a WSOP Circuit event winner having triumphed in a €1,700 event at Kings Resort in September 2021 for a career-bet €246,839. Ricci finished Day 1A here in Barcelona with 9,550,000 chips, which are enough for third place right now.
Others to look out for on Day 2 include Spain’s Miguel Ramon (8,050,000), and Mathias Siljander (4,400,000) who has already reached the final tables of both the Open and the Warm Up this series.
Then there is the one and only Steve O’Dwyer (2,850,000), who is looking to add the MILLIONS Europe Main Event to his long list of victories. O’Dwyer has racked up more than $31 million worth of live cashes during his long and illustrious career. Don’t bet against him adding more winnings to his tally by the time this event is done and dusted.
Vincent Cavailles Leads The High Roller
Vincent Cavailles is chip leader going into Day 2 of the €10K High Roller after bagging up 2,396,000 chips at the close of play, the equivalent of 120 big blinds. Only three others made it through with Cavailles: Tuen Mulder (1,677,000), Luuk Gieles (516,000), and Jelle Moene (411,000); all three call the Netherlands home.
Late registration is open for the first two levels so expect more stellar names to enter the mix and fight it out to become the MILLIONS Europe High Roller champion.
