Italy’s Luca Stevanato is the 2022 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe Warm Up champion, an accolade that came with €65,000 in prize money for his €2,200 investment. Stevanato joins Ramon Colillas as a champion of a MILLIONS Europe event.

Frenchman Arthur Conan finished ninth in the MILLIONS Europe Open event earlier this week and had to make do with another ninth-place finish in the Warm Up. Conan opened to 800,000 from the cutoff with and instantly called off the 6,575,000 chips he had behind when Teun Mulder three-bet all-in from the big blind. Mulder showed and won the hand courtesy of the board.
Austria’s Matthias Lipp was the next player heading to the cashier’s desk. Lipp opened to 2,200,000 with from under the gun, only for Tomasz Kolewczynski to three-bet all-in for 9,150,000 with . Lipp called and lost the huge pot when the board ran . Lipp was left with only six big blinds after that loss, four after paying the big blind and the big blind ante.

Seventh-place went to Mulder who lost a coinflip with against Stevanato’s .
Sixth-place and €13,500 went to Hungary’s Firat Baltaci. Siljander, who was by far the chip leader, min-raised to 2,400,000 with and quickly called when Baltaci three-bet all-in for 6,800,000 with . Siljander flopped the nuts before improving to a flush on the board. Game over for Baltaci.
The final five became four when Vincent Huans of Australia busted at the hands of Siljander. All the chips went into the middle on the turn, Huans holding and Siljinder . The river was the and Huans busted.
From Hero to Zero
Amazingly, Siljander was the next player to fall despite holding a commanding lead going into four-handed play. The Finn lost with king-queen against Molina’s dominating ace-king, which started the slide. His final hand in the MILLIONS Europe Warm Up saw Kolewczynski jam with and Siljander make the call with a slightly smaller stack with . Kolewczynski caught an ace on the flop and Siljander couldn’t catch up, and the 60 big blind pot slid Kolewczynski’s way.
The elimination of Molina in third sent the Warm Up into the heads-up stage. Molina first doubled through Kolewczynski with pocket eights against the Pole’s sevens, but then found himself all-in with against Stevanato’s , and on the rail after the five community cards fell .
The heads-up duo butted heads for approximately half an hour before something finally gave. Kolewczynski, down to a handful of big blinds, moved all-in with . Stevanato called with and became the MILLIONS Europe Warm Up champion after the dealer fanned the board.
