The World Championship Of Amateur Poker (WCOAP) is the biggest festival on the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) calendar and partypoker is delighted to announce it is hosting the online series and running satellites for the live WCOAP, the latter taking place at the home of British Poker, Dusk Till Dawn (DTD).
The online WCOAP runs from June 19 through to June 26, and sees 12 amazingly structured events across a range of formats and disciplines take place at partypoker. All but one of those events commands an affordable $55 buy-in, but the guarantees weigh in as much as $40,000!
Battle it out in 6-Max, and 8-Max tournaments. Pad your bankroll with PKO and Turbo PKO tournament, or swap two hole cards for four in the PLO and PLO8 events. There is something for everyone in the online WCOAP.
June 26 is when the $109 buy-in 8-Max Championship shuffles up and deals. It serves as the online WCOAP’s Main Event and comes with a fitting guarantee as a result: $75,000.
The final day of the online WCOAP also sees an online Day 1 for the 2022 WCOAP Main Event take place. Finish in the top 15% of this field and you’ll head to DTD to complete the tournament in a live setting safe in the knowledge that you have locked up at least a min-cash for your efforts.

Live WCOAP Runs June 29 to July 3 at DTD
Once you’ve had your fill in the online WCOAP events, you can head to DTD for the live edition of the series. Here, you find a wide variety of events for you to get your teeth into, including Short Deck, Round of Each (NLHE/PLO), Tag Team, Mix Max, and bounties.
The high rollers among you should be keen to learn there is a £340 High Roller Championship scheduled for June 30, while those wanting to bask in the glory that comes with becoming the world champion of Amateur Poker need enter the £150 Main Event.
Each of the live Championship events awards its champion a commemorative bracelet in addition to the prize money!

Players can buy into the live WCOAP events via holding tanks in the partypoker lobby, via the LuxonPay app, or in person at DTD. There are player caps for the live events, so make sure you book your seats early to avoid disappointment.
