Jeff Gross has more than $4 million in poker tournament cashes
Team Online has grown ever stronger today with the addition of Jeff Gross to the talented stable. Gross was first introduced to poker while studying at the University of Michigan when a friend brought a plastic poker chip set to his soccer team’s training camp.
From those days of $5 sit & go tournaments and $0.25/$0.50 cash games, Gross has flourished into an outstanding poker player who has played no-limit cash games with stakes as high as $1,000/$2,000 and $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller tournaments.
Gross can boast of more than $1.4 million worth of online poker tournament cashes and an additional $3.2 million from live poker events. While a major live poker title still eludes Gross, he has reached five World Series of Poker final tables, including a runner-up finish, a third-place in a World Poker Tour Main Event, a third-place finish in his first $100,000 buy-in Alpha 8 event in Florida, and was the runner-up in the most recent partypoker Premier League Season VII.
His love for playing poker is only matched by the enjoyment he gets from streaming on Twitch. Gross’ streams are full of energy and give an insight into the world of high stakes poker. You can follow Gross’ Twitch channel here.
Gross joins Matt Staples, Hristivoje “ALLinPav” Pavlovic, Travis “dramaticdegen” Darroch, Patrick “XxXMLGPROXxX” Tardif , Alan “hotted89” Widmann, Ryan “RSchoonbaert” Schoonbaert, Courtney “courtiebee” Gee , Steven “DWstevie” Kok and Monika “HeyMonia” Zukowicz in the new Team Online stable
The creation of the team forms part of a wider company strategy earmarked for the following weeks and months with the focus on streaming quality, engaging content across partypoker’s main Twitch channel. Just recently, the site announced a partnership with “The Thirst Lounge,” a Twitch streaming channel launched in 2016 by high stakes player, Bill Perkins that encourages viewers to “live their best life.”
Plans also include a new partypoker high stakes cash game that will see some of the biggest names in poker invited to trade blows on the site’s virtual cash game tables, streamed live.
In addition, various current members of Team partypoker including Fedor Holz, Patrick Leonard and Ludovic Geilich will alternate in hosting partypoker Twitch streaming sessions, focusing on a range of poker topics.
Over the coming days, partypoker will be unveiling further new additions to Team Online.
