All three flights for the €3,300 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe Main Event are complete and there is a familiar name at the top of the overall chip counts going into Day 2 on June 11. Ramon Colillas, winner of the €1,100 MILLIONS Europe Open a few days ago, continued in his rich vein of form and bagged up 18,245,000 chips on Day 1C, enough to lead overall.

Colillas rode his luck on his way to the top of the chip counts. His ace-queen sucked out on the dominating ace-king shortly after the scheduled dinner break, and he never looked back. Colillas, who has more than $6 million in live poker tournament earnings, is the one to watch on Day 2 and, possibly, beyond.
Four other Day 1C players turned their one million starting chips into an eight-figure stack. Re Gabrielle (12,230,000), Alex Lynskey (11,685,000), Mitchell Hynam (11,280,000), and Emmanuel Rouvet (10,650,000) were that quartet. Of those four players, Alex Lynskey is the most accomplished. The talented Australian has a shade under $4 million in live cashes and millions more from the online grind.
Also through to Day 2 and guaranteed at least a min-cash of €5,000, are the likes of Moene Jelle (8,675,000), Arthur Conan (6,945,000), and Yucel “Mad Turk” Eminoglu (1,875,000).
While the players mentioned above celebrated progressing deeper in the MILLIONS Europe Main Event, Day 1C proved to be the end of the road for a whole host of household names. Team partypoker’s John Duthie and Carl Froch busted during the final flight, as did the Irish Open Main Event runner-up Kyle Maguire, and MILLIONS Europe High Roller champion Teun Mulder.
The 22 surviving Day 1C players join the 29 stars who made it through from Days 1A and 1B on June 11. Tune into the partypoker blog tomorrow to discover which players navigated their way to Day 3 of the MILLIONS Europe Main Event.
