The 20th High POWERFEST of the series saw 105 players exchange $2,100 for the chance to play for a slice of a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. With such a high buy-in, it was no surprise that some of the world’s best poker players were among the 105 entrants.
Several members of Team partypoker bust before the top 16 places, where the prize money was awarded, but the likes of “Drulitooo”, “josef_shvejk”, and “Doyle_B” made it into the money.
Any of the eight players at the final table would have been a worthy champion as all eight are established professionals whose game’s are respected. It was “rdcrsnn” and “SanityWaterline” who locked horns heads-up, but not before they struck a deal to flatten the pay structure somewhat. rdcrsnn set SanityWaterline to the rail in second place to lock up the first of his two POWERFEST wins on January 27th.

rdcrsnn, not content with winning one high buy-in POWERFEST event on Day 7, went on to take down the $1,050 POWERFEST #21-H: $100K Gtd 6-Max Turbo PKO NL Hold’em event for $15,492 and much more in bounty payments.
Again, this tournament was a star-studded affair with players from around the globe competing for a slice of the $123,000 prize pool. It was rdcrsnn who emerged victorious, defeating “SLARVBOGMAJS” heads-up to secure the title.
