April 19 was a big Sunday for Team partypoker’s Josip “JozinhoPP” Simunic who took down a POWERFEST event and reached the final table of another. There were also big scores for Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell, Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov and a handful of others. Let’s check out the recent POWERFEEST highlights.
POWERFEST: $75K Gtd 8-6 Mix-Max Turbo
A field of 306 players bought into the $75K Gtd 8-6 Mix-Max event for $320 and it was Josip “JozinhoPP” Simunic who outlasted them all. Our Austrian star turned his $320 investment into a cool $20,946 prize.
Simunic defeated “Whale_bone7” heads-up to lock in the title, resigning the runner-up to a $13,999 consolation prize.
Earlier at the six-handed final table, “BuddyRW” fell in sixth for $3,672. “ClubsMaker” joined them on the rail in fifth-place and won $5,049. Fourth-place and $7,344 went to “tazmania888” before pRayfoRmeRcy21 crashed out in third for a $10,098 prize.
Simunic also reached the final table of the POWERFEST: $150K 8-Max Grind. He came fourth from 704 entries in the $320 buy-in event and banked an additional $12,650. Awesome stuff from that man.

POWERFEST: $400K Gtd 8-Max PKO
The POWERFEST: $400K Gtd 8-Max PKO attracted a field of 220-player who all paid $2,100 to enter. Team Online’s Jordan “The Undecided” Drummond burst the final table and walked away with $9,937 with bounties included.
“hotsince92” and “cmjuc” were the eight-handed final table’s first casualties before “DunderBlubb” fell in sixth and scooped a total of $21,231 thanks to more than $11,000 worth of bounties.
“MUNJOShuHa” saw their tournament end in a fifth-place finish worth a combined $27,289. Then our own Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov fell by the wayside in fourth and walked away with a total prize that weighed in at $22,552.
Heads-up was set when “ONRYSUITED” was disposed of in third-place. This deep run saw them bank $25,267 from the main prize pool plus an additional $1,575 worth of bounties.
“PpPlayer1357” got their hands on the lion’s share of the prize pool after sending “ShortSqueeze” home in second-place. That second-place finish yielded a $50,029 combined prize. First-place weighed in at a cool $81,294 with bounties included.

POWERFEST: Big Game $1M Gtd Phase Final
The POWERFEST: Big Game $1M Gtd Phase Final was huge once again and it looked like we would have two Team partypoker members at the eight-handed final table. That was until Nikita “fish2013” Bodyakovskiy departed in ninth-place for $19,978.
Bodyakovskiy’s exit left Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell as the only orange diamond in the field. Unfortunately, Bicknell’s run was stopped in seventh-place and she won $35,446.
The top three finishers each won six-figure prizes, although fourth-place almost crept into this amount. “Cjm1989” earned $97,738 for their impressive tournament.
“FamilyMan72” was the third-place finisher, a position that paid $130,184. Second-place and $185,609 went to “Achtungdiekurve” which meant “IIIIIIIIII” was the tournament’s champion, an accolade that came with a gigantic $256,502 cash prize.

We have to give a shout out to Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard and Jordan “The Undecided” Drummond who went super deep in the $150,000 Gtd 6-Max PKO event. Leonard came unstuck in seventh-place for $4,980 in total, with Drummond being the first to fall at the final table, a finish worth $9,793.
