Eight tournaments are scheduled during the opening weekend and what a set of events they are. Fire up your computer or the feature-rich mobile app by 20:30 CET on October 31 if you want to battle it out in the first two tournaments of this brilliantly-structured series.

Monster #01 – 8-Max Day 1A is the event that kicks off the Monster Series. This eight-handed No-Limit Hold’em affair commands a $33 buy-in and has a whopping $150,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Everyone sits down with 100,000 chips and shares the common goal of lasting 18 levels because that means they’ve made it through to Day 2 on November 2.

It’s possible to purchase a single re-entry if you somehow manage to dust your stack off during the first 10 levels, which is when late registration slams shut.

You can also fire a bullet at Day 1B at 20:30 CET on November 1 if you so wish. Only your largest stack goes through with you to Day 2 should you progress from both flights.

Also shuffling up and dealing at 20:30 CET on October 1 is the Monster #01 – Mini 8-Max Day 1A. This has a buy-in of only $3.30 and a guarantee that tops the scales at $15,000.

The best thing about these Mini editions of Monster Series events is they have the exact same late reg period, single re-entry, and amazing blind structure despite costing one-tenth of their bigger brother. Where else can you enjoy a true poker experience like this for a mere $3.30?

Immense Fun Awaits in the Hyper Turbo PKO Events

An hour after the 8-Max events kick off, the Monster #02 – Hyper Knockout and its Mini friend get underway. The higher buy-in event has an affordable $11 buy-in and a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool. It’s Mini cousin only costs $1.10 to enter and has at least $2,000 in its prize pool.

Again, you sit down with a generous helping of 100,000 chips, but the blinds increase every three-minutes thanks to the Hyper-Turbo structure. The action’s certain to be fast and furious and someone will pad their bankroll with a chunky score in record time.

November 1 (how is it November already? – ed) sees Day 1B of the 8-Max and Mini 8-Max take place at 20:30 CET. Before that, however, at 17:30 CET, you have the chance to play in one of the best low stakes tournaments we’ve ever created.

Monster #03 – Deepstack is a $22 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event with a cool $30,000 guaranteed to be won. It truly is a deepstack event with a starting stack of 200,000 and blinds that start at only 500/1,000/130a that increase every 10-minutes. Late registration is only open for 12-levels, so don’t leave it too late to buy-in! Again, only one re-entry is permitted to stop those with unlimited bankrolls buying their way to the money places.

As with all the Monster Series events, there’s also a Mini version. This too starts at 17:30 prompt and has the same structure despite being one-tenth the size. Invest $2.20 in the Mini Deepstack and you’ll be playing for a share of at least $3,000.

We can’t wait to see you all enjoying the Monster Series tournaments. Like our exciting Daily Legends, Monster Series events have your playing experience at heart.

HUDs were banned a long time ago to help protect you. Now our tournaments have limited late registration so you don’t have to battle for hours on end while opponents are still buying in. This also means professional value hunters can’t register at the death and hope to scrape a min-cash or better.

All structures are designed to have plenty of play in them, especially at the business end of the tournament, yet finish at a reasonable hour so you can still get a decent night’s sleep and function properly the next day.

Also, allowing only a single re-entry levels the playing field massively. It doesn’t matter if you are Joe Bloggs or Sam Trickett, you both have the same number of chances of reaching the money and, hopefully, becoming a Monster Series champion.
