Good news keeps flowing from partypoker HQ lately and is showing no signs of slowing down.
First, we told you about the exciting partnership between Dusk Till Dawn and ourselves, then we announced that cash is back thanks to our revamped loyalty program 2.0 and now an incredible $1 million guaranteed tournament, dubbed the Grand Prix Million, is being held at DTD’s Nottingham casino in May.
From May 15 to May 25 we suggest you clear your schedule as partypoker and DTD’s first Grand Prix Million takes centre stage. The guaranteed prize pool for the inaugural tournament stands at a staggering $1 million. Just imagine taking your seat at the poker table as you vie for a piece of the seven-figure pie.
The buy-in for partypoker’s Grand Prix Million, most excitingly, is only $100+$20. The incredible value, thanks to the plethora of satellite tournaments feeding into the big event and introduction of Golden Chips which could see you win an additional $25,000 in cash, speaks for itself.
Satellites to the partypoker Grand Prix Million
Satellites have started at partypoker and will continue to be available right up to the start of the main event. There are, every evening at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm (UK time), $0.01 penny satellites running, where three seats to the twice daily $10 rebuy DTD Grand Final are guaranteed.
Each of these finals pay out a minimum of five seats to the $100+20 buy-in $1 million guaranteed event.
What are Golden Chips?
The first 1,000 players to qualify for the partpoker Grand Prix Million receive a Golden Chip. Anyone who wins a Golden Chip and reaches the final table of the $1 million guaranteed tournament will win an additional $25,000 in cash. That’s on top of your tournament winnings.

The tournament, in order to reach the $1 million guarantee, requires a minimum of 10,000 entrants. The largest Grand Prix DTD ever ran saw 4,932 entries, meaning this particular event requires that total to more than double. So we have a lot of work to do and appreciate your help in reaching this fantastic target.
There are nine Day 1s at DTD’s casino in Nottingham and nine Day 1s being played at partypoker. You can compete on as many Day 1s as you wish, but can only take your best stack through to Day 2. The live and online Day 1s run between May 15-23 with Days 2 and 3 taking place live at DTD’s casino on May 24 and May 25.
