“Echomas” became a POWERFEST champion on Day 9 after topping a field of 478-entries in the POWERFEST #056-HR: $200K Gtd PKO. It was a finishing position that came with a $22,525 prize plus a further $23,566 worth of bounty payments courtesy of sending 13 opponents to the shower.
The eight-handed final table was shark-infested to say the least. “WWWpartyCOM”, Simon “HellmuthTheGr8” Mattsson and “Specter_Litt” all busted in succession before Gustavo “Quatroe3ehFLIP” Mastelotto was eliminated and former POWERFEST Championship Event winner “nipa3p3” crashed out in fourth-place.
Third-placed “bor4eto” was the first player to secure a five-figure score from the main prize pool. Their exit left “coco60k” and Echomas to lock horns heads-up. The latter would emerge victorious, resigning the runner-up to a $16,036 score plus $1,271 worth of bounties.

POWERFEST #057-HR: $300K Gtd 6-Max PKO event looked like it could have had a Team partypoker champion but Joni “”JJouhki” Jouhkimainen fell in 11th place after mounting a serious charge for the final table.
The honour of being a champion was bestowed on “BuyThaPot” a talented poker tournament player who struck a deal with “toadstoadstoads” when the event reached the heads-up stage. BuyThaPot netted a combined $61,085 while toadstoadstoads walked away with $51,529. Not bad for a night’s work.
Shout out to Andras “probirs” Nemeth who reached the six-handed final table less than a week after winning a big POWERFEST event.
