Hungary’s Andras “probirs” Nemeth is the latest player to get his hands on a custom POWERFEST trophy after he emerged victorious in the POWERFEST #029-SHR: $1M Gtd Championship Event.
Some 195 players bought in for $5,200 and played for a share of a $1 million prize pool that was shared among the top 32 finishers. Three Team partypoker members navigated their way into the money: Dzmitry “Dzmitry_Urbanov” Urbanovich finished 18th for $12,500, Richard “RichyDubini” Dubini busted in 13th for $14,800 and Joao “joaosimaobh” Simao exited in 11th place for $17,800.
Everyone at the final table was guaranteed $23,000 with the top three finishers all securing a six-figure score. “pokerstrategg” banked $105,500 for their third-place finish, leaving “rdcrsnn” and Nemeth to battle heads-up for the title.
The final pair struck a deal that saw rdcrsnn win $173,965 and Nemeth take $177,934. Nemeth now has more than $8.5 million in online winnings.

Several members of Team partypoker made it into the money of the POWERFEST #031-HR: $500K Gtd Mix-Max event, although they all fell short of glory.
Ludovic “Gr4vyBo4t” Geilich, Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov, Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard, and Joao “joaosimaobh” Simao all cashed in the mix-max event, the latter’s 44th place finish for $2,378 being the deepest run of our players.
Like the Championship Event discussed above, this tournament ended in a chop. With three players remaining, the tournament was paused and deal discussions took place. The final trio of Doug “dlanger610” Lang, “Dextered” and “Algorhytm” eventually agreed upon a deal that saw Lang win $64,000, Dextered $69,765 and Algorhytm a cool $80,500.

The POWERFEST #032-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max PLO was one of our biggest pot-limit Omaha tournaments on record thanks to 154 players paying $2,100 and creating a $308,000 prize pool.
Four-card lovers battled for nine hours until a champion was crowned and that champion was no other than “Sssaid78” who walked away $77,587 richer than when they started.
Each of the six final tablists locked up at least $12,782 for their effort, but the player of the hour was Sssaid78 who defeated “frippu” heads-up to bag the title. frippu was awarded $52,360 for their runner-up finish which should help numb the pain of falling at the final hurdle.
