A bumper crowd of 203 players paid $5,200 for the chance to become the POWERFEST #049-SHR: $1M Gtd Championship Event PKO champion, creating a $1,035,300 prize pool as a result.
Thirty-two places were paid and Team partypoker’s Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell fell in 44th place to narrowly miss out on yet another cash. Bicknell’s team mates Joni “JJouhki” Jouhkimainen and Roberto”WelshWizard” Romanello both reached the money, falling in 26th and 25th place respectively, each bagging $5,278 and Jouhkimainen netting $8,125 worth of bounties.
Romanello wasn’t the partypoker pro to progress the deepest in this tournament. That honour went to Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard who played his way to a fifth-place finish worth $27,912 plus an additional $10,806 courtesy of sending three opponents to the rail.
Runner-up Sergio “nomoneynoglory” Aido was the player to collect the most scalps with 10 opponents falling at his feet. This meant the talented UK-based Spaniard banked $51,898 worth of bounties to go with his $75,110 prize money.
BackDoorMat was the player of the tournament, finishing on top for a $103,479 first-place prize and a further $123,698 worth of bounties.

The POWERFEST #050-HR: $500K Gtd saw 1,076 players turn out for it, ensuring the guarantee was surpassed by $38,000.
Some 136 spots were paid with Roberto “WelshWizard” Romanello exiting in 105th for $1,345 and Brazilian sensation Renato “renatonomura” Nomura falling in 52nd place for a $1,990 addition to his bankroll.
All but one of the eight players to reach the final table banked a five-figure score. “Insiderexp” busted in eighth-place for $6,994 to ensure everyone else with chips in front of them locked up at least $10,329.
Heads-up was a classic affair with two talented grinders locking horns. Ukraine’s Roman “SanityWaterline” Romanovsky would eventually fall in second-place, a finish worth $66,281, which left Brazil’s Igor “IgorFederal” Trafane to secure the $92,536 top prize and bragging rights among his peers.

Joni “JJouhk” Jouhkimainen was the first Team partypoker players to bust in the money, crashing out in 124th for $1,151 plus $520 worth of bounties. The partypoker LIVE President John “John_Duthie” Duthie was on the right side of the table this time and booked a 73rd-place finish worth $1,551 and a $1,283 bounty payment.
Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell busted in 54th-place for a combined $3,118 with Roberto “WelshWizard” Romanello navigating his way to 32nd-place for $2,902 in total, the deepest run of one of our pros.
The tournament’s champion was no other than “Paul_Folders” who last week won the $530 edition of Event #013 for $24,906. This time around, Paul_Folders walked away with a massive $86,086 from the main prize pool plus $62,745 worth of bounties after defeating “jarumen” heads-up for the title; the runner-up saw their bankroll swell by a combined $76,984.
