Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard turned $530 into more than $41,000 after he topped a star-studded field of 379 entries in the POWERFEST #042-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max PKO event.
Leonard claimed 13 bounties on his way to victory, including his own, so he banked $21,650 from the bounty prize pool in addition to the $20,102 that he collected for winning the tournament.
“sweet_dreammm” was Leonard’s heads-up opponent in the six-handed event. The Russian has more than $3.1 million in online poker tournament winnings and is ranked 26th in the world by the website PocketFives.com.

We almost had another Team partypoker member winning a POWERFEST event on Day 7 but Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell fell at the final hurdle in the POWERFEST #043-HR: $200K Gtd PKO event.
The final table of the $1,050 buy-in tournament read like a who’s who of online poker with the likes of Samuel “JHelppi” Vousden, “IN INFINITY” and former world number one “PhileasFogg” all present and correct.
Bicknell navigated her way to a heads-up battle against “benderbei1” and locked up $18,500. Our heroine banked four bounties, worth $4,850, along the way but couldn’t claim that fifth scalp, that of benderbei1, meaning she had to make do with second-place.
benderbei1 collected $25,487 for their victory plus a mammoth-sized $35,059 worth of bounties thanks to eliminating 12 opponents on the way to victory; only seventh-place “CatsFreakMeowt” sent more opponents packing with 14 scalps.

Our Canadian star came unstuck in fifth-place, a finish that netted her $6,000 to go with the $23,350 she won in the event mentioned earlier in this article.
Andreas “daskalos20” Christoforou was the man that won the event, defeating “PotPotBang” heads-up to scoop the $24,906 top prize, resigning the runner-up to $16,000. The only other player to bank a five-figure score from this event was Steve “LoSientoGrace” Barshak who crashed out in third-place for $11,250.
