The POWERFEST #108-SHR: $2M Gtd Championship Event saw 208 players exchange $10,300 for 100,000 chips and the chance to win a massive prize. Those 208 entries ensured the $2 million guarantee was surpassed and the $2,080,000 prize pool was divided up among the top 32 finishers.
Spare a thought for “orpenkk” who busted in 33rd place to become the last player to be eliminated with no prize money to show for their effort.
Team partypoker’s Roberto “WelshWizard” Romanello finished in 28th place for $21,632 while Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov cashed in 16th place for $30,784 to continue his incredible series.
Everyone who finished in fifth-place and above netted a six-figure score. Russian superstar “PhileasFogg” banked $114,400 for their fifth-place finish with “p0kchkmonsta” walking away with $162,240.
Chance “ChanceSeeYou” Kornuth was streaming his play on Twitch and managed to navigate his way to a third-place finish worth $219,440, leaving “Alien_Army” and “mbtremendo” to lock horns heads-up.
No deal was struck despite there being $116,272 difference between first and second-place. This meant when mbtremendo emerged victorious, they won a cool $424,112 while Alien_Army added $307,840 to their partypoker bankroll.

Two members of Team partypoker navigated their way to the final table and looked set for an epic victory. Isaac “Ike_Haxton” Haxton eventually busted in third-place for $11,6400 leaving Jason “Jason_Koon” Koon to fly the partypoker flag in a heads-up battle with “MysterioBrown”.
Our hero could not quite get the job done and had to settle for the runner-up prize, although we are sure the $189,150 cash haul will help numb the pain somewhat.
