Brazil have extended their overall lead in the POWERFEST standings into the third and final week of partypoker’s flagship online series.

With 75 wins as of the start of week 3, the South Americans continue to lead the UK (61) who remain in second place, over Russia (55 wins), Germany (32 wins) and Canada (26 wins).

The UK are also richest in the series as of week 2, having banked a total $1,532,799.82 prize money to Canada’s $1,202,780.91 and Brazil’s $949,011.12, with Germany propping up the top 5.

POWERFEST multiple event winners

Special mention for player “HUKTO8”, who joins “iikori” of Finland and the UK’s “Paul_Folders”, as a triumvirate of players to score a hat-trick of wins in the first fortnight.

HUKTO8 set the ball rolling with a win in event POWERFEST #044-Mi: $500 Gtd [6-Max PLO8], before going on to take POWERFEST #080-L: $5K Gtd [Mix-Max Turbo]. The Russian then backed that up with victory in POWERFEST #090-Mi: $500 Gtd [6-Max PLO8] for a combined $1,400.08.

iikori emerged victorious in POWERFEST #006-H: $30K Gtd [6-Max PLO], POWERFEST #020-H: $75K Gtd [Fast 6-Max PKO] and POWERFEST #047-H: $150K Gtd events for a combined $52,755 score, while Paul_Folders collected $195,531 with wins in POWERFEST #013-HR: $100K Gtd [Fast Mix-Max], POWERFEST #019-HR: $50K Gtd [6-Max PLO] and POWERFEST #051-HR: $1M Gtd [Championship Event – PKO].
