Powerfest Ladies Event-Low: $5K Gtd NL Hold’em

Team partypoker’s Louise “lou045” Butler won the $5,000 guaranteed Powerfest Ladies Event-Low for 942 after topping a field of 456 entrants.
Natalia “N4talB” Breviglieri had crashed out earlier in 54th place to leave Butler as the only partypoker Ladies member in the field. Butler navigated her way to the eight-handed final table where all the ladies were guaranteed to turn their $2.20 investment into $85.
Butler found herself heads-up against “SkankyHo55” for the title and did what she does best, finishing off the tournament with a victory. Butler banked $942 and the runner-up walked away with $671.
“CristalCandy” won the $10,000 guaranteed Ladies event for $2,039 with “RunYoucleverboy” winning the $20,000 guaranteed Ladies event for $5,300; Beata “WIldHungarian” Jambrik finished fifth in that tournament for $1,400.

“PrettySteph” won the POWERFEST #75-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max PKO NL Hold’em to take home $19,600 and an additional $16,763 from the bounty prize pool.
Three-hundred and 92 players turned out for the $530 buy-in event which saw everyone start with a $262.50 bounty on their heads. This bounty increased each time a player bust another meaning there were some big bounty prizes up for grabs in the latter stages of the tournament.
Amazingly, “boxfresh_” made it all the way to seventh-place without bust a foe, a stark contrast to fourth-place finisher “bjorn1965” who sent 11 opponents packing and one $6,050 in bounties in addition to the $7,426 in prize money.
The eventual champion secured 13 scalps worth $16,763 on their way to victory.

Philipp “Phil_Gruissem” Gruissem took down the $1,050 buy-in POWERFEST #76-HR: $200K Gtd PKO Smooth NL Hold’em to round off a great day for the Team partypoker stable.
Gruissem outlasted 224-opponents to win the event, a finish worth $22,938. The German superstar also collected $34,547 from the bounty prize pool thanks to sending 12 opponents to the showers on his way to yet another major victory.
The top three finishers won five-figures each from the regular prize pool. Runner-up “INFORTHELOL” banked $16,650 (plus $9,506 in bounties) and “skippyskip5” won $11,868 ($3,851) for finishing in third place.
