The first Championship Event of the final day was the $5,200 POWERFEST #81- SHR: $1M Gtd Championship Event PKO NL Hold’em which saw 304 players take to the partypoker felt and create a $1,550,000 prize pool. This gigantic sum was shared among the top 40 finishers.
Team partypoker’s Joao “joaosimaobh” Simao bust in 20th place for $8,588 and $4,875 in bounties; Simao was the sole Team partypoker member to reach the money place.
“Thebattler33” was the first player to exit from the final table. Their eighth-place finish netted them $15,200 and an impressive $41,031 from the bounty prize pool. “joaotreta”, “VictorVaquez” and “JeanClaude1970” were eliminated before “MonkMode” bust in fourth-place for $55,860 and $11,700 in bounties.
“BackDoorMat” was the third-place finisher. “Pider Ninni” and “PokerG1rl69” locked horns heads-up and it was the latter who emerged victorious. Pider Ninni saw $109,440 and $23,643 added to their bankroll while PokerG1rl69 walked away with an incredible $151,240 and an additional $185,412 worth of bounties.

Several members of Team partypoker reached the money places of the POWERFEST #78-HR: $1M Gtd Championship Event NL Hold’em tournament. Day “Daykotoviezy” Kotoviezy exited in 248th for $1,124 and was followed to the rail by Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard (237th for $1,124), Renato “renatonomura” Nomura (182nd for $1,336), Bertrand “ElkY_” Grospellier (136t for $1,654), Roberto “WelshWizard” Romanello (130th for $1,654) and Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov (21st for $4,878).
$11,400 was the least anyone at the eight-handed final table could win and this is the sum “DeManMeDeHa” secured. The prizes continued to grow with each elimination until everyone was guaranteed more than 100 times their $530 buy-in.
“LoSientoGrace,” the fourth-place finisher, netted $53,555 with “ReadingSouls” cashing for $80,598 in third-place. “Carlitos350” was the tournament’s runner-up, a finish worth $124,820 but the player of the hour was “CoffeeCortado” who banked a cool $177,103 for their victory.

Both “sinner2255” and “Chelsea72” took full advantage of the swollen prize pool by striking a deal when the tournament had reached the heads-up stage.
Chlesea72 was the official second-place finisher. This netted them $93,666 from the prize pool and an additional $40,371 worth of bounties. But the victory, and the custom trophy, went to sinner2255 who is now $107,096 plus $80,317 richer and can call themselves a POWERFEST champion.
