The 15th and final day of the $30 million guaranteed POWERFEST paid out more than $7.3 million thanks in part to three Championship Events each with $1 million guranteed.
One of the winners of a Championship Event was the Netherlands’ “HaHaHakim” who banked a cool $210,183 after a heads-up deal with Malta’s “AndreshhParty94”. Let’s check out the three biggest events from the final day’s action.

The Powerfest #69-SHR: $1M Gtd Championship Event 8-Max saw Team partypoker members Isaac Haxton, Jason Koon and Nikita Bodyakovskiy make it into the money but it was our Brazilian Renato Nomura who went the deepest, eventually falling in eighth-place for a $27,255 prize and a fantastic result.
“FMylife” of the United Kingdom collected $36,735 for their seventh-place finish with “Jonas_Luck_” of Austria joining them on the sidelines with $49,770 to put in their partypoker account.
Fifth-place and a cool $65,175 went to “reallygamble” of the UK before Canada’s “FrioPequeno” crashed out in fourth-place for a $92,430 addition to their bankroll, locking up a six-figure prize for the final three players.
“JWPRODIGY” ducked out on third-place for $125,017 to leave “AndreshhParty94” and “HaHaHakim” to play heads-up for the title. The last standing pair struck a deal that saw AndreshhParty94 finish in second-place for $206,818 and HaHaHakim walk away with $210,183 and the victory.

Some 479 players turned out for the $2,100 buy-in Powerfest #70-HR: $1M Gtd Championship Event PKO 8-Max event and it was Mexico’s “PotatoLottery” who outlasted them all to secure a combined prize worth in excess of $150,000.
The Mexico-based grinder won $73,420 for finishing in first-place plus a massive bounty payment of $86,034, including that what was on the head of runner-up “EggsBenedict” who collected $73,321 plus $8,219 worth of bounties.
All eight finalists won more than $20,000 for their efforts. “Justkot” won $9,294 for their eighth-place finish and a $14,995 bounty payment thanks to sending plenty of opponents to the sidelines.
Taiwan’s “BITMEXREKT” was another player busy busting foes, as is evident by the $20,163 worth of bounty payments, almost $8,000 more than they collected for finishing in seventh-place!
Others who reached the final table were Brazil’s “seijstar”, “Iveybluffallin” of Ireland, “galochina10” also of Brazil and the UK’s “WhoIsICM”, the latter finishing in third-place for $50,298 and $12,239 from the bounty prize pool.

The $320 buy-in Powerfest #70-H: $1M Gtd Championship Event PKO 8-Max event saw 3,152 players compete for a slice of $1 million. $5,507 was the least any of the eight final table players would receive from the main prize pool, a sum they were sure to boost with the addition of bounty payments
“Zigggy88” of the UK was the final table’s first casualty and they were joined on the rail by “Hulkster663” of Austria and then “lwolfwhite” of the UK who collected the first five-figure prize from the main prize pool, namely $12,458 (plus $3,524 from the bounty prize pool).
“Ro0b1ckne11” was the fifth-place finisher for $18,228 plus $4,122 worth of bounty payments, with fourth-place finisher “Chimbalobil” collected $26,311 and $4,656. The penultimate elimination was that of “bvdahl” who’s third-place exit banked $39,801 plus $10,597 worth of bounties.
This left “jaimelaviande” and “tgrigoletti” both of Brazil to fight one-on-one for the title. It was the latter who emerged victorious, securing $61,650 plus $59,349, with the runner-up padding their bankroll with $61,547 and $6,679.
