“Partyyculiar” took down the $320 Powerfest #60-H: $100K Gtd PKO 8-Max and added more than $18,000 to their partypoker account. The Mexico-based grinder secured the $7,698 top prize after defeating “Don.Pablo” of Germany heads-up and boosted their winnings with $11,533 from the bounty prize pool. The runner-up netted $7,688 plus $3,532 from the bounty prize pool.
Everyone at the eight-handed final table won more than $2,700 when bounties were included in this $320 buy-in tournament, a buy-in level that has proven popular. Thanks to us not charging rake on the bounty element of our PKO tournaments, $150 of the buy-in went to the main prize pool, $158 to the bounty prize pool and only $12 was charged as rake, or 3.75%, making our PKO events even better value to play in.

The Powerfest #59-H: $75K Gtd Deep Mix-Max event saw 371 players take to the partypoker tables to play for a share of a $75,000 prize pool. The latter stages of this tournament saw play switch to six-handed tables thanks to the Mix-Max format, which adds a different dimension to the game.
Germany’s “dniz56” was the first casualty of the final table, banking $2,850 for their $215 buy-in. The German was followed to the rail first by Brazil’s “marcocampos120” for $4,125 then by Malta’s “MiticoRJ” who banked $5,383 for their fourth-place exit.
The penultimate elimination was that of “king_of_tainha” from the United Kingdom who scooped $8,062 and was the last player not to win five-figures. In fact, the final two players also called the United Kingdom home, making this a profitable tournament for the Brits.
“Sentapied99” found themselves heads-up against “SupermanTY22” but they couldn’t find any Kryptonite and SupermanTY22 put in a heroic performance to lock up the $15,000 top prize, resigning the runner-up to an $11,100 score.

Costa Rica’s “JimyTransaction” will no doubt be making a transaction from their partypoker account, maybe a withdrawal of more than $12,000 after they triumphed over 110-opponents in the $530 buy-in Powerfest #62-HR: $50K Gtd PKO Fast 6-Max event.
First-place netted JimyTransaction $5,315, $5 more than second-placed “blakjak19” but the Costa Rican also banked $7,563 worth of bounty payments compared to the runner-up’s $3,002.
Surprisingly, the fifth-place finisher “SHHHHHHHHHH77” of the Netherlands managed to reach the final table without knocking out a single opponent. While PKO events do reward the more aggressive players, this is evidence that you don’t need to go hell for leather in tournaments to go deep in them; picking your spots well and accumulating chips without putting yourself at risk is also a valid strategy.
Shout-out also to “Rudiqa1” of Latvia who cashed in yet another high stakes POWERFEST event. The Latvian has been one of the best poker players in the world for several years now and is showing no signs at all of slowing down.
