The Powerfest #54-SHR: $2.5M Gtd Championship Event 8-Max saw 105-entries of $25,500 processed and a $2,625,000 prize pool created that was shared among the top 16 finishers.
“Nomoneynoglory” of the United Kingdom was the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble, paving the way for everyone else to collect at least $52,500. One of those who finished in the money was team partypoker’s Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell who busted in ninth-place for $65,625.
“CanadianSanta” scooped $85,312 for their eighth-place finish with the other seven finishers all walking away with a six-figure prize.
“Boy-George” won $105,000 before “TIMEXCNT”, a former Big Game winner, secured a $131,250 prize for finishing in sixth-place. The United Kingdom’s “Equilibrium_x” locked up $170,625 for their fifth-place finish before Swedish legend “Isildur1” busted in fourth-place a $229,687 prize.
Third-place and a cool $328,125 went to Russia’s “udeservit” which set up a heads-up battle between the UK’s “FMylife” and Russia’s “PhileasFogg”. It was the Russia who emerged victorious, scooping the gigantic $643,125 top prize with the runner-up banking a still mightily impressive $459,375 consolation prize.

Finland’s “Sofie2019” took down the $5,200 buy-in Powerfest #56-SHR: $500K Gtd PLO 6-Max event and walked away with a cool $156,403. Sofie2019 defeated the aptly named “omaha4rollz” heads-up for the title, leaving the runner-up to pad their bankroll with $97,500.
Earlier at the six-handed final table, “SanchoPansa95” from Malta busted in sixth-place for a $21,250 score and was joined as a spectator by the United Kingdom’s “TakeYellow” who scooped $31,250.
Fourth-place went to “CanadianSanta” for $43,750, a superb result following their eighth-place finish in the $25,500 Super High Roller. The Canadian got some company on the rail by third-place finisher “JgsNV” of the Netherlands who turned their buy-in into a $60,000 haul.

It was a great day for “TIMEXCNT” who won $132,500 from the $25,500 Super High Roller before going on to win the Powerfest #55-HR: $250K Gtd PKO 8-Max’s top prize of $30,369 plus $45,576 from the bounty prize pool.
Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard narrowly missed out on a final table appearance, busting in 10th place for $3,817 plus $8,531 from the bounty prize pool.
All but one of the eight players at the final table banked a five-figure score when bounties were included, only “STORTjavlaGL” missed out. This Swedish star won $5,429 for finishing in eighth-place plus $2,625 worth of bounty payments.
One player who won a ton of bounties was the third-place finisher “omaha4rollz” who had earlier finished second in the $5,200 buy-in PLO event for $97,500. Omaha4rollz netted $10,828 from this bounty prize pool plus $22,143 for finishing in third-place.
Our champion defeated “FranBenitez91” of Uruguay heads-up for the title, resigning the Uruguayan to a $30,334 prize boosted by $14,142 worth of bounty payments.
