The jubilant champion today is John Duthie, the EPT head honcho admittedly finding some big hands in crucial spots, but still deserving of his victory after making a few timely bluffs and applying the pressure when weakness was smelt.
Like Mahmood, his style is equally bewitching, and often highly unpredictable, but that’s what makes him such a dangerous player and an acquistion to the final table that neither Sam Trickett or Andrew Robl will be welcoming with open arms.
There are eight seater heats and seven players will be on the final table on 10th September. See the full heats.
