The final table of the first-ever WPT event in London was sensational. The WPT events in Europe are eight-handed, but the final table of the London event was perhaps the best-played final table in the history of the WPT.
Everyone played well, but it was the young guns that ‘wowed’ me – and they’ll ‘wow’ you too.
The 4th place finisher was 21 year-old Kristoffer Thorsson from Sweden, but don’t let that 4th place finish fool you. This kid is unreal. His fearlessness, aggressiveness, and poker instincts are uncanny.
The runner-up, 24 year-old Nichlas Mattsson, also from Sweden, was impressive as well. And the winner, 22 year-old Jake Cody, is terrific!
Remember these names: Kristoffer Thorsson and Jake Cody. Here’s another name to remember, not from the WPT event, but from the PartyPoker World Poker Open. He’s Sam Trickett and he’s amazing! You’ll see these names in the winner’s circle in the future – time and time again!
If you like good poker, do yourself a favor and don’t miss the WPT event from London. You might not recognize the names, but it’s as good of poker as you’ll ever see. And I promise you, you won’t forget Kirstoffer Thorsson and Jake Cody
