Late registration is coming to an end shortly so if you want to participate in the World Poker Tour National London Main Event you are going to have to hurry on down to the Aspers Casino Westfield as soon as you can.
A trio of stars have done just that so if you buy-in you can play poker with them. Former Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and England footballer Teddy Sheringham is already sat down and riffling chips. As is Nicolas Levi, and Mike “Timex” McDonald.
McDonald is one of the very best poker players in the world, and one of the most accomplished. The young Canadian is the youngest-ever winner of a European Poker Tour title, winning EPT Dortmund when he was just 18-years old. Since then he has gone on to win more than $4,500,000 from live tournaments.
Despite McDonald’s huge amount of winnings, he was struggling to get the buy-in together for this tournament. He completely forgot that this is a PartyPoker sponsored event and not that of a rival site so didn’t have enough British pounds on his person. He has obviously rectified that situation and is doing battle over on Table 3.
