The partypoker calendar for 2022 continues to take shape, offering something for all types of players, whatever their preference.
This has already been a year like no other for players who enjoy partypoker events, with the introduction of online-live series, which have made up the format for the Grand Prix UK, Irish Open, partypoker Championship Malta, and partypoker Championship UK. All four series have given players the chance to enter the series in the environment that suits them, allowing the series to work around their schedule.
There are plenty more festivals still to come this year, and here’s what players can expect:

Grand Prix
The online-live format is being adopted once again for the next Grand Prix UK this month. Online events are currently running on partypoker.com, with the $150,000 guaranteed Online Warm Up being one of the highlights in the first week of the series, which can be bought into for $55.
On Thursday, May 19, 2022, the festival will move to Dusk Till Dawn as the Main Event gets underway, guaranteeing £150,000 for a buy-in of £150, with the first of five Live Day 1s taking place. Players do not need to begin their quest to become Main Event champion at the venue however, as Online Day 1s will be running on partypoker on Sunday, May 15 and Monday, May 16.
The second and final day of the Main Event will be played on Sunday, May 22, which will be the last day of the series.
Satellites to the Grand Prix UK are being held on partypoker every day, with buy-ins starting from just $0.01 for the Online Warm Up events, and £0.01 for the Main Event. More information on the series can be found here.
Grand Prix events are designed to give recreational players a chance to win large cash prizes, and with two-day events taking place across a weekend, many players will not need to take any time off work to have a chance to be a champion.
Online players will also experience a full Grand Prix series on partypoker with the Grand Prix Summer Edition, running from Thursday, August 4, to Tuesday, August 23. The Main Event will pay out a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000 for a buy-in of $162, and satellites from $0.01 will run ahead of the series.
MILLIONS
Meanwhile, partypoker LIVE’s premium brand continues to give players the opportunity to rub shoulders with poker’s elite in some of the most beautiful cities in the world, with more MILLIONS series lined up for this year.
Casino Barcelona has previously been confirmed as the host venue of MILLIONS Europe from Thursday, June 2, to Sunday, June 12. Any player with any bankroll can become the Main Event champion, with centroll satellites running on partypoker. This will be the first opportunity for players to win a MILLIONS Main Event title in a live venue since January 2020, when Anton Suarez claimed the Main Event at MILLIONS UK to win a massive $1,000,000.
The MILLIONS tour will return to the UK later this year, with Dusk Till Dawn hosting MILLIONS UK from Wednesday, November 30, to Tuesday, December 6. Players can expect to see a £3,300 buy-in Main Event, with an action-packed side-event schedule to run alongside it.
There will also be several opportunities for players to enjoy the prestige of a MILLIONS series online. The first MILLIONS Online KO Edition is currently running on partypoker until Tuesday, May 31. A special feature of the festival is that the schedule is made up entirely of progressive knockout events; something which has never been seen before in a MILLIONS festival. The Main Event, guaranteeing $1,000,000 for a buy-in of $1,050, began last Sunday, and players can still enter the satellite tree for $0.01.
There will be another MILLIONS Online KO Edition from Sunday, September 4, to Tuesday, September 27, offering the same Main Event guarantee and buy-in.
The year will be rounded off with MILLIONS Online, beginning on Sunday, December 4, and finishing on Wednesday, December 21. A magnificent $3,000,000 guarantee for the Main Event will be paid out for a buy-in of $3,200.
WCOAP
Making a comeback at Dusk Till Dawn in June will be the World Championship of Amateur Poker (WCOAP), in association with the Amateur Poker Association & Tour. This will be the first live WCOAP since 2013 and the series will run from Wednesday, June 29, to Sunday, July 3.
Offering a fun, friendly, and sociable atmosphere, this will be the perfect chance for amateur players to enjoy a moment in the spotlight. Freezeouts will be running with sensible finishing times, and there will also be team events, tag-team events, and heads-up events within the schedule.
The Main Event will come with three starting flights and can be bought into for £150. Players will be able to buy into events via partypoker holding tanks, LuxonPay and at the Dusk Till Dawn cash desk. The full schedule is available here.
PPC
partypoker Championship is a brand new poker tour that launched earlier this year. The tour provides affordability for players of all bankrolls thanks to a comprehensive qualification plan, while also offering players’ parties and memorable experiences in well-known locations.
The first PPC Main Event champion was confirmed at Portomaso Casino in Malta in April, when Oliver Hutchins placed first to win €74,000. This was followed up by Waheed Ashraf’s victory in the PPC UK Main Event earlier this month, where he took the top prize of £66,271.
Players can expect to see announcements of more PPC series in due course.
Chris Donnachie, partypoker’s Head of Poker Room Management, said: “It has been immensely enjoyable to provide players with chances to play in the ideal environment for them this year, and with many more events to come, there should be no shortage of fun for partypoker players for the rest of this year.
“We want to offer all types of series to suit all types of players, and I look forward to welcoming partypoker players across several festivals going forward.”
Players can experience the action even if they cannot make it to the online and live felts, with several series set to be live-streamed on partypoker’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
