The MILLIONS Online Knockout Edition comes to partypoker in May, combining the prestige of a MILLIONS festival with the excitement of a knockout series for the first time.
Running from May 5, 2022, to May 31, 2022, a special feature of the festival is that the schedule will be made up entirely of progressive knockout events; something which has never been seen before in a MILLIONS festival. This means all players in all tournaments will be carrying a bounty on their heads, which makes it possible to win plenty of money even if you do not reach the main prize pool payout positions. Eliminate an opponent and you instantly receive half their bounty amount with the other 50% added to your own bounty, making you a more attractive target for your opponents!
There are 71 exciting PKO events that have buy-ins ranging from $109 to $1,050. Action gets underway with the Opener, a two-day tournament featuring a $200,000 guarantee for a $162 buy-in.
Attention turns to the Main Event on Sunday, May 8, where a fantastic $1,000,000 prize pool is guaranteed for a buy-in of $1,050. However, every partypoker player has the chance to win their way into the Main Event champion because satellites start from just a $0.01 buy-in.
The Main Event is a three-day tournament, and players have plenty of chances to enter thanks to six starting flights running before Day 2 on May 30. Starting flights run every Sunday during the festival. Main Event players sit down with 1 million chips and play o a 20-minute clock where blinds start at 5,000/10,000/1,000a. A single re-entry is permitted while late registration is open (12 levels), and play ends when only 15% of the field remains. Those top 15% progress to Day 2 where they are guaranteed at least a min-cash.
Running alongside the Main Event will be the Mini Main Event, where players can buy-in for $109 to play for their share of a guaranteed $500,000.
Among the other events to watch out for will be the two-day Weekender tournaments, which run on three consecutive weekends during the series, with buy-ins ranging from $162 to $320 and guarantees from $200,000 to $250,000.
