The inaugural MILLIONS Online KO series has crowned several more champions, including the talented grinder Jans Arends. The Austria-based Dutch star padded his partypoker account balance with $21,533 after taking down a $530 buy-in 7-Max event his week.
The 228-strong crowd ensured the $100,000 guarantee was beaten by $14,000, and Arends, as champion, was the main beneficiary of the juicer prize pool. Arends defeated Markus Prinz heads-up to claim a total prize worth $21,533, made up of $7,983 from the main prize pool and an additional $13,550 worth of bounties, going to show how profitable PKO events can be. Prinz’s combined prize weighed in at a still respectable $10,855.
Before Arends got his hands on the title, Mauricio Silveira busted in seventh for $5,004, which was a larger payout than the $3,868 won by Alexandre Raymond and the $3,604 collected by Ignas Vaitulionis. This happened because Silveira banked $3,398 from the bounty prize pool; only Arends and Prinz collected more.
The other finalists were William Barbosa, who bowed out in fourth for $5,271 and Giovani Torre of Malta who turned his $530 into a $6,120 haul.

Azuma Acquired MILLIONS Online KO Title
Bruno Azuma is $16,006 richer than a couple of day ago after he finished first from 609 entrants in a $215 8-Max event. The bumper crowd created a $121,800 prize pool, some way larger than the advertised $100,000 guarantee placed on the tournament.
Azuma was joined at the eight-handed final table by two of his fellow Brazilians. Anderson Henrique Dalmas fell by the wayside in sixth place and walked away with $3,392. Alen Fillipi went two places deeper, falling in fourth-place for a $5,993 addition to his bankroll.
The last standing Brazilian, Azuma, defeated Theo Bijaoui heads-up and claimed a $16,006 prize. Our runner-up, although disappointed not to win the tournament, collected a $9,235 consolation prize.
