Team partypoker members Sam Trickett and Jeff Gross enjoyed their POWERFEST sessions on March 29 as they both reached final tables of big buy-in events. There was also a massive event that saw the top four finishers all walk away with six-figure prizes! Let’s take a look at what went down.

POWERFEST #136-SHR: $250K Gtd PLO 6-Max

Eighty-three players exchanged $5,200 for the chance to become the POWERFEST #136-SHR: $250K Gtd PLO 6-Max champion. This meant the $250,000 guaranteed was smashed to smithereens and $415,000 was up for grabs. The top 12 finishers received a slice of the pie, with prize money weighing in at $17,637 by the time the final table was set.

“Crackalackin” busted in sixth-place and banked $17,637. Then it was the time of our hero Sam “SamTrickett” Trickett to run out of steam. Trickett couldn’t quite finish the job this time and had to make do with the $25,937 fifth-place prize.

Basketball fan “LakersLebron23” collected $36,312 for their fourth-place exit, with the in-form “Robbery9999” scooping $49,800 when their tournament ended in third place.

Heads-up saw “Carnotaurus” and “kuukuna66” fight it out. There was no deal despite an almost $50,000 difference between the two finishing places. This meant kuukuna66 got their hands on an impressive $129,814 when they emerged from battle victoriously. Our runner-up banked a cool $80,925.
