WPT Montreal’s schedule features, for the first time in the WPT’s long and illustrious history, all the different WPT components under one roof. Players from around the globe can compete in the WPT500, WPT Main Event, WPT DeepStacks, WPT High Roller, and WPT Ladies at the same festival.
With combined guarantees of CAD$8,165,000 and buy-ins ranging from CAD$220 all the way up to $10,300, there is a WPT Montreal event for everyone regardless of the size of their bankroll and skill level.
WPT500 Kicks off WPT Montreal
It is the ever-popular WPT500 that gets the WPT Montreal underway; the CAD$550 buy-in event features a massive CAD$1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. One starting flight takes place online at partypoker on October 21-23 with the live element of this huge event shuffling up and dealing at the Playground Poker Club from October 26.
You will also be able to play an online Day 1 in the CAD$5,000,000 guaranteed WPT Montreal Main Event. This online flight kicks off on October 28, allowing you to play Day 1 from the comfort of your own home, on our amazing new, enhanced software, before heading to Montreal to finish off the tournament should you progress to Day 2.
Also on the schedule are CAD$1,650 WPTDeepStacks event, the world’s premier mid-stakes major tournament series; this one comes with a CAD$1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. High Rollers can exchange CAD$10,300 for a shot at glory in the three-day High Roller, while female poker players can get involved in the CAD$220 WPT Ladies event on November 3rd and play for a share of $15,000.
Rounding off the first-of-its-kind WPT festival are the CAD$1,100 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event and the CAD$550 buy-in 6-Max Turbo tournament, the latter bringing the curtain down on an amazing poker festival on November 5th.
