PartyPoker have a number of online qualifiers in the field of Day 1B of the World Poker Tour Main Event, one of whom is Ben Carpenter.
Carpenter is a regular on the PartyPoker site, in fact he has been ranked as the number one tournament player on the site for the past couple of years. Having played poker professionally for eight years, Carpenter is probably one of the most experienced players in the field today and one of the favourites for a deep run.
At the felt Carpenter is a formidable opponent but away from it he loves to let his hair down. When asked what he would do if he went all the way and won this tournament, Carpenter said:
“If I won the main the first thing I would buy is probably a beer!”
A man after my own heart!
