1 Artur Martirosian 430.87 $50,000
2 Scott Margereson 377.94 $10,000
3 Phil Mighall 329.32 $5,000
4 Dimitar Danchev 299.80 $3,000
5 Roberto Romanello 297.96 $2,000
6 Kristen Bicknell 270.02 $1,000
7 Mikita Badziakouski 265.70 $1,000
8 Andrey Kotelnikov 264.18 $1,000
9 Teun Mulder 250.59 $1,000
10 Thomas Boivin 246.36 $1,000

Martirosian finished the Player of the Championships leaderboard with 430.87 points, some 52.93 points more than Scott Margereson in second place. That lead seems quite substantial but it only tells part of the story.

The $50,000 top prize was destined to go to either Martirosian or Margereson who went into the final event of the WPTWOC within 18.25 points of each other. Amazingly, both stars made it to day two of the $10,300 Mini Super High Roller. Margereson needed to best Martirosian’s finishing position by a couple of spots if he wanted to be crowned Player of the Championship.

Unfortunately for Margereson, he busted in sixth place and although he collected $47,500 for this, it meant he couldn’t finish higher than second in the leaderboard.

Martirosian got the job done in style and was crowned the Mini Super High Roller champion, an accolade that came with a $239,500 prize. Add this to the $377,000 he banked in a $25,500 Super High Roller side event, and the $50,000 leaderboard prize, and it’s been a great week for the Russian.

The leaderboard winner told the partypoker blog, “I wasn’t even aware I was going well in the leaderboard for around 80% of the series. I became aware around the time of the high roller events and some of my opponents were not playing them, so that’s why it wasn’t that hard to achieve first place.”

Everyone else who finished in the top 10 of the standings deserves a pat on the back. Phil Mighall, the WPTWOC Main Event champion, finished in third place for a $5,000 cash injection.

Three members of Team partypoker finished in the top 10 spots. Roberto Romanello’s fifth place finish weighed in at $2,000 while Kristen Bicknell and Mikita Badziakouski finished sixth and seventh for $1,000 each,

Remember that all prize money won by Team partypoker is being given back to you, the players in the form of freerolls bearing the pro’s name.

Romanello’s $2,000 freeroll takes place at 21:00 CEST on September 29. Stay tuned for updates on the other freerolls by following our Twitter account.

Constantino accumulated 298.39 points along the way, thanks in part to triumphing in the WPTWOC Micro Main Event. That impressive victory saw Constantino’s bankroll swell b $148,985.

Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard finished eighth in the Micro Main Event for $10,450. The leaderboard points earned from that final table appearance helped him finish second in the Rising Star standings. Congratulations to everyone who cashed in the leaderboards, and thank you to everyone who took part in the WPTWOC and made it an amazing series for everyone involved.
