Pascal Lefrancois said winning the MILLIONS Online Main Event would have been “the cherry on top of a very good year.” That never happened, but Lefrancois did the next best thing and took down the $25,500 Super High Roller event for $525,089 instead.

Day 2 of the Super High Roller saw 11 players return to the partypoker tables with each guaranteed $59,321 for their efforts.
Georgi Sandev was the first of the 11 returnees to dust off their stack. Talented Austrian Matthias Eibinger was the next casualty before Barry Hutter and Daniel Dvoress crashed out and collected $66,239 prizes.
Dvoress’ exit set the official seven-handed final table and what a final table it was.
David Coleman has been on a real tear of late and we would not have been surprised to see him win this event. Coleman, however, fell in seventh and saw his partypoker bankroll swell by $75,782.
Ole Schemion joined Coleman on the sidelines, his sixth-place finish coming with a prize worth $90,588.
The surviving five players now locked up a six-figure prize and had one hand on the $525,089 top payout. Team partypoker’s Jason Koon saw his tournament ended abruptly in fifth-place for $114,840 before Alexander Shalkovski bit the dust in fourth, a finish worth $152,274.
Malta-based Swedish star Joakim Andersson scooped the $212,835 third-place prize, which left Lefrancois and Ami Barer heads-up in a real clash of the titans. The heads-up battle could have gone either way such are the skills of the final duo, but it went the way of Lefrancois who secured the $525,089 top prize and left Barer to console himself with $327,468.
