The lure of the $2 million guaranteed partypoker Million and $1 million guaranteed World Poker Tour Caribbean Main Event appears to be stronger than ever judging by the stellar names who have confirmed their attendance in Punta Cana for the Caribbean Poker Party.

Germany has produced some exceptional poker players in recent years, and one of those amazing talents is Rainer Kempe who has confirmed he is heading to the Caribbean Poker Party this November.

Kempe is currently seventh in the all-time money list for Germany, according to The Hendon Mob database, thanks to amassing $8,048,465 in live tournament winnings. Kempe’s first recorded live tournament cash came back in December 2011 when he finished 10th in a €330 No-Limit Hold’em tournament in Berlin for €1,572.

The German’s 10th live score saw him collect A$93,000 for finishing second in a $1,150 No-Limit Hold’em Accumulator tournament at the 2015 Aussie Millions, and since then Kempe has added several six-figure scores to his impressive live poker tournament record.

  • Fifth-place at EPT Barcelona for €320,400
  • Fifth-place at EPT Malta for €161,340
  • Third-place at WPT Montreal for C$195,940
  • First-place in a €25,500 High Roller at EPT Prague for €539,000
  • Second-place in a $25,000 High Roller at the Aria, Las Vegas for $321,790
  • First place in a $50,000 High Roller at the Aria, Las Vegas for $531,245
  • Seventh-place in a $25,500 High Roller at Seminole Hard Rock for $102,375

While those results are most impressive, they pale into insignificance compared to Kempe’s largest cash to date, which weighs in at an incredible $5,000,000! Kempe got his hands on this life-changing cash hail when he topped a field of 49 entries in the $300,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl at the Aria Las Vegas, defeating fellow German Fedor Holz heads-up for the title.

Now Kempe is turning his attention to the goings on at the Caribbean Poker Party and that spells bad news for anyone drawn on his table. Kempe will join an army of partypoker qualifiers, our team of professionals and ambassadors, and fellow big names such as Michael Mizrachi, Igor Kurganov, and Daniel Cates in travelling to Punta Cana for the must-play poker festival of 2016.

You too could be joining Kempe an Co. by qualifying for the Caribbean Poker Party at partypoker.
