Sunday 21 October saw another Power Series Special Edition take place and what a tournament it was. We gave a massive guarantee boost to the $11 buy-in Sunday Main Event, making it a $100,000 guaranteed tournament!
Some 5,623 players re-entered 2,127 times before late registration closed, making a total attendance of 7,750. The mathematicians among you will no doubt have calculated this meant there was a juicy overlay of $22,500 for those 984 players who navigated their way into the money place, making the tournament even better value.
A min-cash in this event was worth $29, a final table appearance boosted this sum to $914, with the eventual champion scooping $15,147 for their $11 investment.

It was Brazil’s “dimenoor” who emerged victorious to bank the massive $15,417 top prize after defeating “zzzzzzach” of the United Kingdom heads-up; the Brit netted $10,605 and was the only other player to lock up a five-figure score for only $11 invested.
Shout-outs too to everyone else who reached the eight-handed final table. “Geaser4538” finished third for $6,801, “Timoha007555” was the fourth-place finisher and walked away with $4,420 while “Lovebounty” collected $3,027 for their fifth-place finish.
Sixth, seventh and eighth-place went to “kellysgold”, “comeOn1time” and “misimax” who saw $2,050, $1,432 and $914 added to their partypoker accounts respectively.
KO a Pro Winners
Making this event even better value was the addition of the KO a Pro promotion that saw 10 members of Team partypoker enter the fray with a bounty on their heads.
