WPT Big Game Mini Final Table Results

Bulgaria’s Dimitar Danchev triumphed in the WPT Big Game Mini, a $530 buy-in event with a $300,000 guarantee. Victory in any $530 buy-in tournament is never an easy task but Danchev’s victory was extra special if you look at the talent on show at the final table.

Kenny Hallaert bowed out in eighth for $5,495 before Michel Dattani and Ramon Da Silva busted for prizes of $6,745 and $9,365 respectively. The first five-figure prize went to Sam Grafton, one worth $12,889. Grafton won $99,000 last weekend and looks to be loving life in the WPT events.

Swedish legend Niklas Astedt ran out of steam in fourth and collected $18,430. Third-place and $26,474 went to Daniel Koloszar, leaving Danchev and Matas Cikinas to fight it out one-on-one for the title.

The heads-up duo struck a deal to conclude the tournament early. Cikinas officially finished second and won $45,652 with Danchev scooping $48,107 and the title of champion.

WPT Big Game Mini Final Table Results

Norway’s Espen Uhlen missed out on Big Game glory last week but made up for it this week by taking down the $5,200 buy-in edition for a juicy $200,650!

Uhlen, like Danchev, had to contest with some of the game’s top players on his way to victory. Oskar Prehm was the final table’s first casualty and Alexandros Kolonias joined him on the rail in seventh. One of our own finished in sixth. Jordan Drummond couldn’t quite get the job done, but the $42,000 he collected will go some way to numbing the pain.

Andres De Augustin hit yet another major final table. He had to make do with the $55,000 fifth-place prize this time around.

Canada’s Allen Berger was the last player not to win six-figures, although his $78,000 fourth-place prize is still massive. Dan Shak continued his hot form with a third-place finish worth $104,200. This left Uhlen and Joao Vieira as the only players in the hunt for the title.

No deal was struck despite a near $55,000 difference in prize money. This meant Uhlen scooped $200,650 when he sent Vieira to the showers, Vieira collecting $146,050.

The final pair of players decided to make a deal to soften the payjumps. This resulted in Sales finishing second and turning $55 into $14,121, with Paris coming out on top and scooping $14,232.
