The MILLIONS Online KO action continued over the weekend, and it was the 7-Max Weekender that caught the attention of the PartyPoker community. A field of 530 entrants paid $320 to enter, and created a $159,000 prize pool for those entrants to fight over. Only 80 of the starters made it through to Day 2 on November 6, and it was Malta’s Manuel Carvalho who outlasted them all.

Team PartyPoker’s Staples brothers were among the 80 Day 2 players. Jaime Staples busted in 55th, with Matt Staples going a little deeper before busting in 42nd. Others who helped themselves to some of the main prize pool cash but fell short of the final table included Josip Simunic, Dan Wilson, Thomas Boivin, WSOP Ladies Event champion Jessica Teusl, and Steven Van Zadelhoff.

With bounties included, none of the seven finalists could take home less than $3,300. Dalton Hobold of Brazil was the first finalists to bow out. Hobold helped himself to $3,312.

A trio of players sporting the Union jack of the United Kingdom fell in succession. Lander Bereciartua ($3,306), Samuel Simister ($7,560), and Charlie Combes (6,347) being the three recently departed stars.

Heads-up was set when Giuseppe Orlando ran out of steam, and had to console himself with an $11,197 haul. Orlando’s total prize was almost the same size as the one the runner-up collected thanks to banking $3,673 worth of bounty payments before falling in third.

David Harvey and Manuel Carvalho were the heads-up duo. Both secured more than $11,000 from the main prize pool, leaving the ample final bounties up for grabs. Carvalho defeated his opponent and reeled in a $15,988 bounty payment, taking his total haul to an impressive $27,049. Harvey headed into the night with $11,776 to show for his efforts.
