partypoker is the place to be if you are a fan of Progressive Knockout (PKO) tournaments because the latest edition of the KO Series is on the horizon. KO Series runs from January 21 through February 7, and features 209 tournaments across 53 numbered events. Tot up all the guarantees and you arrive at a figure of almost $6 million!
As with previous partypoker festivals, the KO Series’ events come with three buy-in levels to suit every budget. Those buy-ins start at only $1.10 and increase all the way up to $1,050. The guarantees start at $1,000 for the lowest buy-in tournaments and are as much as $500,000.
KO Series Highlights
It is unfair to single out a particular KO Series event because they are all crammed with value. Each tournament features reduced late registration and limited re-entries to ensure a level playing field across the board. In addition, the structures are designed in such a way that the events finish at a respectable hour without compromising the average stack size.
KO Series gets underway at 19:05 GMT on January 21 with a trio of Weekender events. They come with buy-ins of $2.20, $22, and $215. For those sums, you get to play for a share of a guaranteed $10,000, $100,000, and $150,000 respectively. Going deep or taking one of these tournaments down – Day 2 are on January 23 – will set you up perfectly for the rest of the festival.
Additional Weekender events run, believe it or not, each weekend of the KO Series.
High rollers among you will be interested to learn there is a $530 buy-in $150,000 guaranteed and a $1,050 buy-in $150,000 guaranteed High Roller event on January 23. Other High Roller events shuffle up and deal on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays right up to February 7, the final day of KO Series.
A Trio of Blockbuster Main Events
Of course, no online poker festival would be complete without a Main Event. Well, KO Series has three such Main Events scheduled!
January 23 is your first chance to get involved in a KO Series Main Event. They come with $3.30, $22, and $320 buy-ins. Their guarantees tip the scales at $20,000, $200,000, and a whopping $500,000!
Satellites for the KO Series Main Events and the other tournaments hit the partypoker lobby from January 14.
KO Series Edition Spins
The special edition $10 SPINS are the quickest route into higher buy-on KO Series events.
