Team Online’s Courtney “courtiebee” Gee navigated her way to a fourth-place finish in the KO Series #30-H: $150K Gtd 8-Max event. Gee was streaming her KO Series play on her popular Twitch channel at the time.
Some 632 players entered and smashed the $150,000 guarantee by almost $45,000. “Franco_Gandi”, “LOLOLlama93”, “Zakeeee” and “CanarimBaleiro” all busted to leave four players in the hunt for the title.
Gee’s fateful hand saw “ParannanTapani” open to 2.2 big blinds on the button. Gee was in the small blind with 
and decided to move all-in for 24.9 big binds in total. The big blind folded, but ParannanTapani instantly called with 
. Gee spiked an ace on the 
flop, but the 
on the turn left her drawing dead. The 
river completed the hand and Gee busted in fourth-place for $9,560.

Jeff “JeffGross” Gross kept up his fine form with a third-place finish in the KO Series #32-HR: $75K Gtd 8-Max Fast. This $530 buy-in affair saw 192 players take to the partypoker felt. Gross was going great and looked like he could secure his first KO Series title of the festival. That was until his world came crashing down and he busted in third place.
Third was worth $5,937, which was bolstered by $1,993 worth of bounty payments.
Gross’ exit left “Jacquees” and “Call2Action” to play heads-up for the title. Jacquees won a KO Series event a couple of days ago so was looking for their second victory. It was not meant to be as they fell in second-place and had to make do with an $8,134 prize from the main prize pool and $3,125 from the bounty prize pool.
The champion, Call2Action, banked a similar $8,143 main prize pool prize. Their bounty award was far greater though, weighing in at a cool $14,585.

The KO Series #30-HR: $200K Gtd 8-Max was another Day 7 KO Series event that surpassed its guarantee. The 200-strong field created a $204,000 prize pool and three five-figure prizes from the main prize pool.
“DoughPork,” “HennHuegele” (they won a KO series event earlier in the day), “Babymsker” and “leosss” all fell by the wayside. Fourth-place and a combined $13,463 went to “sims_or_sins…” before “fAkETaXi87” collected a total prize worth $16,262 for their third-place exit.
Second-place and an impressive $17,532 went to “Dandelion32892” which left “Serenity25” to bank the lion’s share of the money, namely $46,607.
