Jaime “jaimestaples” Staples looked set to get his hands on his first KO Series title of the series, but had to make do with second-place in the KO Series #25-HR: $150K Gtd Mix-Max 8-6 event.
Staples was heads-up against “IIIIIIIIIIII” and guaranteed $14,534 plus $5,618 worth of bounties. If Staples won, his bounty payment would be more than twice the size. He didn’t win, falling in second-place for the second time in less than a week, leaving IIIIIIIIIIII to bank $14,551 and $12,016 from the bounty prize pool.
Two other players at the final table netted five-figures. “Hex Veldluis” won a total of $10,932 for their fourth-place exit. “Schmoopsie” took home $15,258 after falling in third-place.

“MeisterYoda” continued their impressive form with a victory in the KO Series #26-HR: $150K Gtd 8-Max event. A field of 147 players took part in the $1,050 buy-in event. Only 20 of those receive a share of the main prize pool, although everyone had the chance to accumulate some substantial bounty payments.
Victory in this tournament was worth a combined $36,695, made up of $12,987 for first place and $23,708 worth of bounties. Those bounties included the one on the head of “BreakingTheLAW” who fell in second-place. They had netted $8,563 from the bounty prize pool along the way to their runner-up finish.
Fourth-place finisher “NostatsNograts” won the third-most bounties with $3,152 for a total prize of $9,838, only $251 less than third-place finisher “DvaSlona”.
