Butler’s impressive run came to an end with a fifth place finish that saw her secure a $3,084 prize from the main prize pool plus an additional $1,427 from the bounty prize pool.
The eventual winner was the Austrian star known as “SchelampigaUhu”. The Austrian turned their $530 into more than $18,500 made up of the $8,459 first place prize and $10,110 worth of bounties, including that on the head of runner-up “Curvez” of Sweden who walked way with more than $12,500 for their second place finish.

The biggest prize of the day went to Uruguay’s “mbtremendo” who took down the $2,100 buy-in KO Series #42-HR: $500K Gtd 8-Max event for more than $100,000. The Uruguayan banked the $41,337 top prize after defeating “savageplenty” of Bulgaria heads-up. Our champion boosted their top prize with $58,882 worth of bounty payments for a total score worth $100,219.
Nobody at the eight-handed final table won less than $10,500 thanks to the huge bounties involved. Our bounties are larger than most, as a rule, as we do not charge any rake on the bounty element of the buy-in; this also makes our overall rake lower and our PKO events better value.
