Those of you who love to play in major poker tournaments need to check your diaries and ensure you have October 22 through to November 6 free because those are the dates the £3 million guaranteed World Poker Tour UK festival takes place.
Three £1 million guaranteed tournaments are coming at you in the next few weeks, the WPT500 UK, the WPT UK Main Event, and the inaugural Devilfish Cup, the latter being in remembrance of the late British legend David “Devilfish” Ulliott.
WPT500 UK opens the festival, so it makes sense to tell you about that one first. The WPT500 UK is a £500+£50 buy-in event with a £1 million guaranteed prize pool (including 50x WPT UK Main Event seats worth £2,200.
Players receive 30,000 chips, play to 40-minute blinds (16-minutes online), and can make one re-entry per day in their quest to follow in Richard Harris’ footsteps, the 2015 champion who topped a field of 1,616 to get his hands on £150,000.
This year’s WPT500 UK has Day 1s up and down the county, meaning the tour is likely to be coming to a city near you. Survive for 12 levels, progress to Day 2, and head to Dusk Till Dawn to finish off the tournament and become a WPT champion.

Devilfish Cup Schedule
David “Devilfish” Ulliott lost his battle with cancer in April 2015. He may be gone, but he’ll never be forgotten for the impact he had on British poker, and on everyone who crossed paths with the great man.
From October 31 through to November 2, you have the chance to play in a £1 million guaranteed tournament bearing Ulliott’s name, the Devilfish Cup. You are also invited to a Devilfish Cup party on November 2, which is definitely not to be missed.
It costs £5,000+£300 to enter, with the £300 fee (and three percent of the prize pool) being split evenly between the Marie Curie charity and a trust fund for Ulliott’s daughter, Lucy, which she receives on her 16th birthday.
Satellites for the Devilfish Cup are already in the partypoker tournament lobby under the Dusk Till Dawn filter, and there are two live satellites at Dusk Till Dawn, each with five seats guaranteed, at 7:00pm on October 30, and 2:00pm on October 31.

WPT UK Main Event Schedule
The final £1 million guaranteed event during the WPT UK festival is the £2,200 buy-in WPT UK Main Event. Spread over two starting flights and three days afterwards, the WPT UK is set to be a superb tournament. Last year, it was Iaron Lightbourne who walked away with the title of champion and £200,000 after defeating Craig McCorkell heads-up.
Again, satellites are running online at partypoker and live at Dusk Till Dawn, so check those out if the £2,200 buy-in is outside of the constraints of your bankroll.
