A field of 180 players took to the partypoker tables in the Christmas Freeze #28-HR: $100K Gtd PKO and 24 of those starters walked away with a slice of the $100,000 pie.
Each of the eight final table members locked up more than $2,000 each, when bounties were included, with “RedDwarf9” of Germany netting a combined $3,714 for their eighth-place finish.
Seventh-place and a total of $2,108 went to another German in “skippyskip5” before our Team pro Leonard fell in sixth-place for a $2,373 score boosted by $2,280 worth of bounty payments.
Netherlands’ “jammermaat”, “PotatoLottery” of Mexico and Greece’s “value23” then fell by the wayside to leave “dean23priceI” and “GettinDaize” heads-up for the title. GettinDaize, who now resides in Costa Rica, emerged victorious to claim the $11,673 top prize and $10,504 from the bounty prize pool. The runner-up secured $8,387 plus $6,960 worth of scalps.

The biggest haul on Christmas Freeze Day 8 went to Malta’s “Paul07new” courtesy of them taking down the Christmas Freeze #29-H: $100K Gtd PKO Fast event.
This $1,050 buy-in event saw some huge bounties created and Paul07new took full advantage of them, winning $14,592 worth of bounties, only a handful of Benjamins away from the $14,924 they won from the main prize pool.
Paul07new’s bounty payment was so large because they eliminated Finland’s “rdcrsnn” heads-up. The runner-up had accumulated $6,467 worth of bounties on their way to their second-place finish, which was added to the $10,419 bridesmaid prize.
