Grand Prix Irish Open - €500,000 GTD

The €500,000 GTD Grand Prix Irish Open kicks-off the Irish Poker Festival, offering you the chance to scoop a massive payday from a small buy-in!Only €220 to enter, the tournament is set to take place in the charming countryside surroundings of the Citywest Hotel.

However, before the cards are in the air in delightful Dublin, three Online Day 1s will take place at 21:00 GMT on three consecutive days from Sunday 4th March.

Live Day 1A and 1B will take place Wednesday 7th March, before the fourth and final Online Day 1, plays out at 21:00 GMT later the same day.

There will be a total of seven Live Day 1s, the last of which begins Friday 9th March at 18:00.

Satellite your way to Dublin…

There are two branches of the satellite tree to climb - the $0.50 Centroll and then the $22 Final, where you can win your €220 Grand Prix Irish Open seat. Both satellites will be running daily.

Golden Chip…

Progress to Day 2 quickly and you could be rewarded handsomely!

The first 50 players to book their Day 2 seat via an Online Day 1 will earn a Golden Chip. If a Golden Chip holder goes on to reach the final table they will receive a €2,000 package to any partypoker LIVE Championship event - including the Irish Poker Championships festival in September!

When?

Four Online Day 1s are scheduled. Starting 4th March, an Online Day 1 will take place each day at 21:00, until 7th March, where the last Online Day 1 will run after the end of the first day of the live action.

The Online Day 1's are scheduled as follows:

  • Online Day 1A - Sunday 4th March (21:00)
  • Online Day 1B - Monday 5th March (21:00)
  • Online Day 1C - Tuesday 6th March (21:00)
  • Online Day 1D -Wednesday 7th March (21:00)

Seven Live Day 1s will play out across three days, as follows:

  • Live Day 1D -  Thursday 8th March (18:00)

From Dublin International Airport:

Leave Dublin Airport and follow signs for the M50 Motorway southbound.
Travel on the M50 southbound through the toll bridge and take exit 9 off the M50, towards Limerick and Cork.
After approximately 8 km you will see a sign for Citywest Hotel, labelled 3a, take this exit.
Exit off the N7 and carry on straight for approximately 1km. The Hotel entrance will be on your right hand side.

Directions from Dublin City Centre:

From the City Centre, follow signs for the N7/Cork/Limerick/ Naas Road southbound.
Continue onto the N7 and after approximately 8 km you will see a sign for Citywest Hotel, labelled 3a, take this exit.
Exit off the N7 and carry on straight for approximately 1km.The Hotel entrance will be on your right hand side.

Directions from Dublin Port:

Leave Dublin Port and follow signs for the M50 Motorway southbound.

Directions from Limerick, Cork and Kerry:

Follow the N7 through Naas, towards Dublin City Centre.
Take the exit signed posted for Saggart.
Drive into Saggart and turn left at the crossroads, following the signs for Citywest Hotel.
After half a kilometre the entrance to Citywest Hotel will be on the left.

By Bus:

Citywest Hotel is serviced by the 69 Bus route from Dublin City Centre, stop number 3426. The bus stops at the gate of the Hotel, just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel.
