The WPT World Online Championships are now well underway, and there are many more chances for players of all bankrolls to qualify for the series every day, with millions of dollars in tournament tickets guaranteed through Mega Sats in one week.
Mega Sats for the WPT Pot-Limit Omaha Championship is being held ahead of the start of the tournament on Saturday, July 25, 2020, and will run until Sunday, July 26.
Following this will be the WPT 8-Max Championship, where an enormous $1.5m in seats will be guaranteed, with Mega Sats beginning on Sunday, July 26, and running until Sunday, August 2. The tournament begins on Saturday, August 1. As many as 280 seats are guaranteed into Day 1A for the $3,200 buy-in Main Event. The Mega Sats have buy-in levels of $3.30, $33 and $320 to win tickets worth $33, $320 and $3,200 respectively.
All seats won before Day 1A of a tournament will feed into Day 1A and all seats won after that point will feed into Day 1B.
Massive Mega Sats!
There will be specific Mega Sats into 12 championship events, as well as the $1m guaranteed WPT 7-Max Weekender, which begins on Saturday, July 25. All championship events have a Main, Mini and Micro version.
With the WPT World Online Championships being designed to offer something for all types of players, buy-ins across all satellites range from $3.30 to $1,050.
There are also pre-event lead-up satellites running daily until Sunday, August 23. The tournaments feed into the $5,000,000 guaranteed Mini Main Event. Players can buy-in to the satellite event for $22 and win a $1,050 ticket.
A guaranteed $100,000,000 will be paid out during the series, which is hosted by partypoker and will run until Wednesday, September 9.
The WPT World Online Championships are designed to replicate an authentic live poker experience. Players’ real names will be used at the tables and there will be a maximum of two Day 1s for the 12 championship events in the series, with a maximum of one re-entry allowed. Five of the 12 championship event winners will be entered into the WPT Champions Club, with the $15,000 seat added to the already gigantic prize pools.
