Twitch TV partypokerTV is Live Now - Watch live on Twitch

You may have gathered that partypoker is on a mission to bring poker back to the people and part of this mission is continued consultation with the grassroots poker community. Over the last few weeks and months, we have been requesting feedback via social media and at forums during our live events and one of the most common gripes mentioned by our players was being charged for withdrawals. We are now delighted to inform you, our loyal customers, that withdrawals for most methods, including the popular MasterCard, Visa and bank transfers are free with immediate effect, bringing them in-line with Kalixa Pay, goplay prepaid MasterCard, ClickandBuy and PayPal.

E-Wallets Neteller, Webmoney and Skrill still have a fee to withdraw associated with them, but the poker team is working diligently to eliminate these fees, as mentioned by Director of Games, Golan Shaked.

“Listening to the players is central to our ongoing strategy. When we started our Poker for the People campaign, withdrawal fees and our loyalty store were the two hottest topics raised at our live player forums. Our poker team has been working hard and we’re really pleased to have addressed these two issues but there’s still work to be done. We want to be the online poker site that champions what players want and we’re up for the challenge of making our players’ experience the best it can be. We are now looking at ways to eliminate withdrawal fees from the small number of payment processors who currently charge a premium for their services.”

Efforts are also being made to improve the time taken for a withdrawal to be processed and we hope to have an update for you on this particular matter soon.

What do you think of the scrapping of withdrawal fees? What would you like to see improved next? partypoker is the poker site for the people, help shape it into the site you want it to be.

  1. I would like to see more focus on improving the mobile app. There’s no reason why the mobile experience can’t be the same as it is on a desk top. Other sites have successfull made their mobile gaming versions the same as their desktop versions, (or very close).

ie: hand replayer, auto rebuy, multi tables, chat, show 1 or both cards, advanced filters, opt-in to participate in challenges and promotions, see full tables, join waiting lists, etc

I only got back into Partypoker after a few years, love the classic look.
When I found out it cost me 10 EUROS! to withdraw I got my money out lost about 15% of my $100 and vowed not to ever come back.

Now I might come back, but you still don’t have enough players, sit n gos take forever to fill up even the most basic games.
I hope your marketing team smashes this no fee into the poker community to try and win back some small – medium players.
It’s still a hard sell with no games available.

What about the turn around times, it took me 5 days to get my money out, I swapped to Full Tilt they process my withdrawals in < 5 minutes and I get my money into my account the next business day.
