Time Is Running Out to Enter The Closer Events

The WPT World Online Championships (WPTWOC) are rapidly drawing to a close and that means you are running out of time to enter the $500,000 guaranteed Closer and the $100,000 guaranteed Mini Closer.

$109 is the buy-in for the $500,000 guaranteed Closer. For that sum, you receive 100,000 chips, and play to an eight-minute clock where blinds and antes start at 400/800/100a. Play on each Day 1 continues until only 15% of the field remains, with these players progressing to the final day at 20:15 BST on September 13.

Some 2,736 players have bought in so far, and 407 have navigated their way to the final day. Another 2,264 entrants are required across the remaining flights, which shuffle up and deal every three hours between 14:05 and 01:05 BST on September 10-12. The final Day 1s run on September 13 at 01:05, 14:05, 17:05, and 18:30.

The Mini Closer comes with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool for an $11 buy-in. To date, 5,767 players have bought in and 832 of those have made it through with chip stacks in tow. The Mini Closer follows its bigger brother exactly in terms of starting stack, blinds, and remaining Day 1s. Mix-Max Championships Kick Off September 11

Three Mix-Max Championships get underway this weekend and we cannot wait to see players flock to them in droves. Al three events are played on eight-handed tables during Day 1 with play switching to six-handed for the final day.
