There’s been a lot of talk in the commentary booth about what sort of player Jennifer Tilly is, with Phil Hellmuth opining that she plays a bit faster than most give her credit for and Jesse May saying that he thinks the Premier League format suits her game.
Well they both now seem very smart as a hand played out that illustrated both points nicely. The action was started by Dan Shak, he made it 20,000 with he picked up calls from Tilly
, Tobias Reinkemeier
and Igor Kurganov
.
The flop was checked through and the
then hit the turn. First to act Kurganov led, Shak folded, Tilly then moved all-in. This got Reinkemeier out the way but Kurganov thought long and hard before letting his hand go and Tilly, who gave nothing away, took the pot.
