The Playground Poker Club is the place to be between October 30 and November 17, 2016 because those are the dates that the World Poker Tour is in town for the Playground Poker Fall Classic, which includes the $2 million guaranteed WPT Montreal Main Event.
A total of 17 events are on the schedule and they have buy-ins starting as low as $150 and increase to $10,400. It is The Wild $150 that kicks off the festival, a $150 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament played over four starting flights, with a juicy $100,000 guarantee.
Other tournaments in the run up to the WPT Montreal Main Event include a $250 Frenzy with a $200,000 guarantee, an $1,100 Deepstack Freezeout also with $200,000 guaranteed, an $80,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament costing $550 to enter, and even a $220 Bounty tournament with $20,000 guaranteed and $100 for every opponent you bust.
The $2 million guaranteed WPT Montreal Main Event is the focal point of the festival, and it runs from November 11 through to November 17. There are three starting flights and players can re-enter on a subsequent Day 1, meaning Day 1c is essentially a freezeout tournament.
It is possible to play more than one Day 1, but anyone who progresses to Day 2 more than once can only take their largest stack through with them, all other chips are forfeited. Check out the Main Event schedule below.

Qualify For WPT Montreal at partypoker
Every week, until November 6, there are at least three $3,850 WPT Montreal seats guaranteed to be win via partypoker satellites.
$109 buy-in WPT Montreal Feeder tournaments take place at 7:00pm ET every Thursday and awards a WPT Montreal Satellite ticket for every $530 in the prize pool. This $530 buy-in satellite runs at 7:00pm ET on Thursdays (one seat guaranteed) and 4:00pm ET on Sunday (two seats guaranteed).
Please be aware that players are not permitted to win more than one seat to the $2 million WPT Montreal Main Event. Anyone who does win multiple seats will not be able to sell one or exchange it for tournament dollars.
