The 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is all but over and the majority of the Team partypoker roster who were in Las Vegas are making their way home. There has been plenty to shout about with a total of 69 cashes worth a combined $1,456,500.
Plenty of big scores have boosted the Team partypoker tally in the final stages of the WSOP and other major tournaments taking place in Sin City, with Nikita Bodyakovskiy helping himself to $480,500 from three impressive results.
Bodyakovskiy finished third in a $10,000 High Roller hosted at Aria, the venue of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Vegas event earlier this month, for $24,000 The Belarusian then won two $25,000 buy-in High Roller events at Aria for $157,500 and $299,000 respectively.
Patrick Leonard also banked a six-figure prize when he finished fourth in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em WSOP event and walked away with $114,347. Leonard has cashed nine times, reaching four final tables.
Leading the way in terms of cashes is Anatoly Filatov who has reached the money in 10 events. Filatov played in the $10,400 Bellagio Cup and navigated his way to a sixth-place finish for $68,661, taking his total haul for the summer to $136,534.
We couldn’t update you on the team’s progress in Vegas without mentioning the epic run in the $10,000 WSOP Main Event by our Managing Director, Tom Waters. Waters ducked and dived his way through the majority of the 8,569 strong field, eventually falling in 206th place for $50,855. Waters would have gone much deeper had his pocket jacks prevailed against his opponent’s ace-king, but a king landed on the flop to send the boss home.
