Siljander Claims a MILLIONS Online KO Edition Title For Finland

The 52nd event of the series was a $530 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max event that aw 206 players created a $103,000 prize pool. Canada’s Timothy Ulmer busted in 35th place and popped the money bubble but he did collect $437 from the bounty prize pool so he didn’t leave empty-handed.

Bradley Harwood, who finished ninth in the recent Weekender event, was the player who burst the final table bubble. The Yorkshireman, who resides in London, walked away with $2,422.

Juan Duenas, Matthew Cox, and Leocir Carneiro were the first three players who saw their time at the final table of this tournament pass by quicker than they would have liked. Carneiro won more prize money than the other two players combined thanks to busting nine foes before busting himself.

Henrik Hansen of Denmark and Manuel Carvalho were the next players heading for the exit. Then came the elimination of the 2019 MILLIONS Online Main Event champion Benjamin Chalot. The Hungary-based Frenchman picked up a total prize weighing in at $8,567, which was the last four-figure score of the tournament.

Finnish grinder Mathias Siljander fought one-on-one with Ricardo Silva for the title and a near-$20,000 payday. Siljander busted his final opponent and saw $19,314 make its way to his partypoker account. Silva logged off with the $13,860 second-place prize nestled in his bankroll.

MILLIONS Online KO #56 was a $215 buy-in 8-Max No-Limit Hold’em tournament that attracted 575 players to the partypoker tables. Those entrants created a guarantee-busting $115,000 prize pool, and Brail’s Andre Luis Berlanda got his hands on the largest payout.

Plenty of stellar names made it into the top 95 finishing positions and, therefore, won a piece of the main prize pool. Event #52 champion Siljander cashed in this tournament, as did the likes of Endrit Geci, Benjamin Chalot, Jakob Miegel, and Ignas Vaitulionis.

With bounties included, none of the eight finalists won less than $1,697. Those finalists were, in order of being eliminated, Bernado Silva Peters, Peter Haden, Pavel Matoska, and Paul Salatzki.
