Hold onto your hats boys and girls because the fourth and final heat of Group B is about to start and it should be action packed from the word go.
Tobias Reinkemeier leads the way with 38 points and is guaranteed a place in Saturday’s final, as is Dan Shak on 35 points, while Talal Shakerchi is all but guaranteed an automatic spot unless Jennifer Tilly wins and Shakerchi finished dead last.
This means we have an interesting dynamic between Tilly (16 points), Jason Mercier (10), Tony G (10), Igor Kurganov (8) and Phil Laak (6) who are all essentially vying for the fourth and fifth places in the standings, which would see them battle it out heads up for the fourth final table spot awarded to Group B.
Play is set to start at 13:30GMT with the live stream starting 30 minutes later. As mentioned, this should be a superb heat and it is not to be missed!
